Veteran actor Kamal Haasan has added yet another feather to his cap. The actor is all set to be honoured with one of the highest civilian honours in the nation- Padma Bhushan.

The legendary actor was quoted saying, “I feel proud to be an Indian. India is a country with great talents in various fields. While legions await to be honoured, I’m honoured that I have been chosen for the Padma Bhushan by my Government. I think it is sheer chance and my good fortune that I have been chosen. I hope that I would live long to do more to deserve this award. I don’t consider this an honour for the work that I have already done. This would be an impetus for me to do more good work, perhaps only then would I deserve it. My heartfelt congratulationsto the other Padma Bhushan awardees, especially my friend Mr. Vairamuthu.”

Vijay Sethupathy to do a cameo in Parthipan film

The hot and happening star Vijay Sethupathy is going out of his way to help an actor he admires-Parthiban.

He has found time to do a special appearance in Parthiban’s Kathai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam (KTVI).

Parthiban is directing the film under his real name Radhakrishnan Parthiban. Parthiban says : “I’m directing KTVI with a bunch of newcomers and I will not be acting in the film. It will be something different from my usual style and tagline of the film says it all – ‘A film without a story’. “
